2024/2025 Programs
We are offering a variety of discounts this year. They will automatically be applied at checkout.
Membership
- Discounts are available for most programs with an LDA membership (some programs are excluded, please see individual program tuition). An email has been sent out to current members about their membership status. If you would like to purchase a membership, please click on the tab above labelled "membership."
Family Discount *NEW*
- 10% discount is applied to the 2, 3, and 4 children for most programs.
Subsidies
- The Learning Disabilities Association of Windsor-Essex County (LDAWE) is committed to making our programs accessible and affordable for all families. Families receiving the Ontario Trillium Benefit may qualify for a limited number of subsidies, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To explore your options or discuss your needs, please contact us at [email protected].
Important Information
- Payment plans are available, and fees will be automatically billed to the credit card on file as indicated in the schedule. Deposits are required at the time of registration and will be forfeited if registration is cancelled. Payment will take place two (2) weeks before the program starts. We cannot credit any cancellations after this point as we have invested resources in the program.
- Program age restrictions are based on our experience delivering programs for many years. While it may be disappointing that we cannot offer a specific program for your child or youth, please understand that we have carefully designed the programs to work with the age criteria.
- Our programs are designed to support children struggling with a learning disability; however, a formal diagnosis of a learning disability is not required to participate. We recognize that a formal diagnosis is not always possible for families. Therefore we welcome children struggling in academics and social life due to an identified or suspected learning disability.
- Applicants will be screened for other exceptionalities (e.g., autism, down syndrome, developmental delays, etc.) as LDAWE’s mandate is to offer programs and services for those with learning disabilities.
- To ensure smooth scheduling and fair compensation for our tutors, we kindly request a minimum notice of 48 hours for session cancellations. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will incur the full session fee, thus, the session will be forfeited and not rescheduled.
- LDAWE is not designed to treat students with severe mental health and emotional or behavioural issues. B.E.S.T. Social Skills is not a behavioural program but rather a program to support children with learning disabilities through LD awareness, self-advocacy, building self-esteem and social skills
