Description

JUMP Math is an individualized tutoring program for children in Grades 3 to 6 who are a minimum of one year behind in math due to a diagnosed, identified, or suspected math disability (dyscalculia) and who may be showing signs of math anxiety.   

Participants work with a trained numeracy tutor to build foundational math skills and computational fluency. These small group sessions are taught using a combination of direct instruction and engaging math games and activities to foster math confidence.

Children participating in JUMP math receive a discount for our new Homework club.

Participant Eligibility

Participants attending the sessions must:

  • Have a diagnosed or suspected Learning Disability or ADHD;
  • Not be diagnosed/identified with an intellectual disability or significant behavioural support needs.

Restrictions

Participants must currently be in grades 3 to 8.
