Description

LDAWE’s JUMP Math program provides supportive, structured instruction for students who find math challenging or need extra help strengthening important skills. Concepts are broken into clear, manageable steps so students can experience success while building their understanding.

JUMP Math is especially helpful for students with learning disabilities, ADHD, or other learning difficulties. Our instructors provide guided practice, encouragement, and opportunities to learn at a pace that supports each student.

Students will:
  • Strengthen foundational math skills
  • Develop problem-solving strategies
  • Fill gaps in their learning
  • Build confidence and reduce frustration
  • Develop a more positive attitude toward math

Participant Eligibility

Participants attending the sessions must:

  • Not be diagnosed/identified with an intellectual disability or significant behavioural support needs.

Cost: $300

Cost for a bursary student: $30

Bursaries are available; to qualify, you must confirm that you receive the Ontario Trillium Benefit. 

Target Audience: Grades 3 to 8

Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays, September 28 - December 4 (10 Weeks). 

(There will be no session on Oct 12, 2026)
