B.E.S.T. (Better Emotional and Social Times)
Social skills, emotional confidence, and friendships that last.
For over 20 years, LDAWE’s B.E.S.T. program has helped children with learning disabilities (LD) and ADHD build the social and emotional skills they need to succeed at school, at home, and in their community.
Many children with LD and ADHD find it challenging to understand social cues, manage emotions, solve problems, and build friendships. B.E.S.T. teaches these skills directly through small groups, games, role-play, guided practice, and real-life activities.
A step-by-step pathway to success
B.E.S.T. includes three connected programs:
Children begin with Foundations, then continue to the other programs as they develop confidence and skills.
