Description

Reading Readiness is a reading intervention program designed to support students in grades 3 to 6 who struggle with letter or sound knowledge, rhyming, syllable identification, and phoneme isolation. Students work in small groups and 1:1 with an OCT (Ontario Certified Teacher).

Participant Eligibility

Participants attending the sessions must:

  • Have a diagnosed or suspected Learning Disability or ADHD or have a non-identified IEP.
  • Not be diagnosed/identified with an intellectual disability or significant behavioural support needs.

Cost: Member $250 Non-Member $300

Subsidies are available; to qualify, you must confirm you receive the Ontario Trillium Benefit. 

Target Audience: Grades 3 to 6

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 8-December 12, 2024 (10 Weeks)

(No class on Thursday, November 14)

Times: 6-7:30 PM

Where: Forest Glade Public School (9485 Esplanade Dr, Windsor).
