Description

Junior Undiscovered Math Prodigy is an individualized tutoring program for children in grades 3 to 8 who are at least one year behind in math due to a diagnosed, identified, or suspected math disability (dyscalculia) and who may be showing signs of math anxiety.   

Participants work with a trained numeracy tutor to build foundational math skills and computational fluency. JUMP Math is taught in small group sessions using a combination of direct instruction and engaging math games and activities to foster math confidence.

Participant Eligibility

Participants attending the sessions must:

  • Have a diagnosed or suspected Learning Disability or ADHD or a Non-identified IEP. 
  • Not be diagnosed/identified with an intellectual disability or significant behavioural support needs.

Cost: Member $350 Non-Member $400

Subsidies are available; to qualify, you must confirm you receive the Ontario Trillium Benefit. 

Target Audience: Grades 3 to 8

Dates: Monday and Wednesdays, October 7-December 11, 2024 (10 Weeks)

(No class on Monday, October 14)

Times: 6-7:30 PM

Where: OLPH School (775 Capitol St, Windsor).
