BEST Foundations

Better Emotional and Social Times is an in-person self-advocacy and coping skills program for children who are experiencing low self-esteem and poor social and emotional regulation due to a diagnosed, identified, or suspected learning disability. Build foundational social skills in a small group setting while making new friends!

BEST Foundations is the first part of a three-part program that must be completed before registering for BEST Friendships, BEST Emotions, and Lego Club.

Participant Eligibility

Participants attending the sessions must:

• Have a diagnosed or suspected Learning Disability or ADHD;
• Not be diagnosed/identified with an intellectual disability or significant behavioural support needs.

Cost: Member $200 Non-Member $250

Subsidies are available; to qualify, you must confirm you receive the Ontario Trillium Benefit. 

Target Audience: Grades 3-6

Dates: October 22-December 3, 2024 (7 Weeks)

Time: 6-7:30 PM
